Terrific work, Phil. From its Heaneyesque subject matter, environs, and milieu this poem's voice resonates with world class quality.

I haven't visited your archive topic recently. Have you been archiving, updating your catalog of works? I've offered before, and the offer still stands. Do you need a facility in addition to your Member Archive topic to spotlight or point to your published works? It would be easy for me to activate a blog here on the site for you. Let me know if you do, or if you have any other needs, and I'll see what I can do.

Tony

Yes, I see what you mean Tony. I read your article on influences, but I couldn't point to a particular poem/poet. Very much appreciate your offer/s. I think I become so absorbed by the writing process, feeling for the pulse, that being organised is a distraction (especially with long working days).

cheers

Phil

Well, it was meant as the highest compliment ...
