Lying close-by,

body as white as a blank page

she pours herself into his glass,

not half-measure, brimming -

bodies like boats bobbing on waves-

her rhythms are ocean whispers

sloping curves to sea sleep,

it is enough -

forever to hear the song

of coral seas and cinnamon trees.

Hmmm... that's just dreamy. ;) A little too gooey for my taste, but dreamy nonetheless.

she pours herself into his glass,

not half-measure, brimming -

I like this part the best, being the enormous fan of clever metaphors that I am, and which this is. Awesome.

I love this poem, Badge, especially coral seas and cinnamon trees. Sea sleep is inspired! The title's perfect, too. I kinda wish I wrote this one ...

Very lyrical poem, badge. It's so sensual and emotional.

I loved the tone and the shape of this poem. The expressions are great.
