A widow's tale

This spider spools a mesh of smiles,

that tease of light, those stars in dew,

be my valentine

her webbed heart whispers,

quivers against my wings until

I'm cocooned in her silent womb.

Yes, I read "The Widow's Tale" last time, but I missed "A widow's tale" from before. This one reads like the story of my life, recent years.

Thank you Victor. Of course, a poem has no life without a reader. So many thanks.
