Blogs are now accessible to Guests. Guests may read and reply to blog entries. We'll see how this works out. If Guest participation becomes troublesome, I'll disable Guest access. Members are encouraged to make use of the PMO Members' Promotional Blog to promote their published works. Simply add your latest entry to the blog. Include relevant information (your name or screen name, poem title, periodical name, hyperlink to the site where published, etc). If you have a lot of them and feel you need your own blog, let me know, and I will try to accommodate you. Members are encouraged to continue also posting their promotional topics in the Promotions forum on the board itself which is better suited for archiving promotions.

Not a typo Frank I simply misspelled it. Thank you, I fixed it. Cloud is one of those words that every time I write it my brain questions w or u? And sometimes I pick correctly and other times not. But usually I have spell check to fix it for me, Last night I simply didn't take the time to check and correct and I know better. I had just come in from outside in the rainy darkness and here was Brendan's haiku counting the same stars I was missing. Brendan's haiku inspired a response in me, So I typed my haiku directly into this thread without spell check. I don't know why my brain doesn't want to let me hold that particular word spelling, Spelling rarely gives me problems. ~~smile~~

Oh I know Tink, easy to do, it's just some US variations catch me out, there are results searching for clowds one led me to a gay poet I never heard of whose eccentric spellings some argue are not wrong per ce apparently just his usage of his own version of language. His name Peter Orlovsky and clowds was how he spelt it. Just thought I'd mention that for interest's sake in passing.

Good haiku (s) as ever personal & pertinent duetting with Brendan a good double act going. Cheers Frank.

green snot runs
coughing kids sent home from school
all four down with flu

Desparation call from daughter-in-law on her way to pick up her 3rd child being sent home from school today. Her youngest was home sick to start with. She has gotten 3 separate calls, 3 separate trips. 9am, 10:30 and 11am. Lucky for me I live so far away. I'm sorry I can't help but happy I will not be exposed.
