Rainbow Promise

Isla's Rainbow heart.jpg My 6 year old great niece, Isla's Rainbow Heart. She says it means "Everyone can love who ever they want to."

Rainbow Promise

The day designed for celebration,
a movement spread across the nation.
Rainbow colors light the scene
proclaiming love has conquered hate,
intolerance and fear to date.

Don't get me wrong there's still a lot
of work to do.  To overcome the thought
that man is judge, not God, obscene!
He made us all and each is His,
we love who we love, it's not a quiz.

To those who fight the plight to live
as each was born to be, invite
respect this day to honor the right
to live with dignity, inclusive.
