Created by Emily Romano, this invented form can be found at several sites on the internet including Shadow Poetry and Poetic Constellations. The elements of the Mini-monoverse are: a decastich made up of 2 cinquains. A Double Min-monoverse is simply writing 4 cinquains. syllabic, 3 syllables each line. rhymed, each stanza is monorhymed. Rhyme scheme aaaaa bbbbb. If writing a Double Mini-monverse the rhyme scheme aaaaa bbbbb. A Double Mini-monoverse is aaaaa bbbbb ccccc ddddd. recommended as a narrative which I thought odd since longer lines usually are best for narratives. Once I tried the form my concerns were confirmed. Trite by Judi Van Gorder In the night sit to write, black on white a poem, Light Verse, not quite. In Rangoon, leggy lune trills a tune at the moon, word cartoon.
