Dance Of The Snow White Swan
‘Twas midst of day, sun on high
In the marsh, a swan’s responsive cry
Breezes waft among the reeds
Time was set, for courtly deeds.
Wings spread wide, upon water they tread;
Fishes scurry from their resting bed.
Necks arched ‘neath the golden sun.
To natures beck, they twirled and spun,
Pirouetting, to and fro
Following instincts only they know
A consumated courtship, a permanent bond,
During the dance of the Snow White Swan.
