3 haiku, kid parole - hummingbird - poet to reader

sun drenched days of June
perennial kid parole
the child in me smiles
***
small bird sips nectar
floats on invisible wings
nature's hovercraft
***
tiny bird hovers
on invisible wings
sweet morning glory

***
words placed on page pass
to the soul through eyes and ears
poet to reader

The tranquility in these haiku delights, Tinker. When all three are taken together (the way you have shared them here), the result is a macrocosm: the three poems represent lines of a haiku with the last one serving as that "a-ha" moment. icon_smile.gif

I like how you adhere to the syllable count. In this case, I think doing so helps reinforce the idea of that "coherent whole" which I mentioned above. Perhaps the thoughts aren't so random?
