Wu Yen Shih is an expansion of the Ssu Yen Shi.


From the Lu Shi code, the Wu Yen Shih is:

  • written in no more than 3 quatrains of 5 character lines, usually only 1 quatrain.
  • composed of mono-syllable words with a caesura after the 2nd word.
  • rhymed. Rhyme scheme is abab.
