(In the 9th century Buddhist leader, Guru Rinpoche had sacred texts and artifacts hidden or buried during a peasant revolution. They are thought to be on the border of Tibet and Bhutan and over the centuries pilgrims have sought to visit the sacred sites and possibly find a treasure text and insight into the Buddhist faith.) Verse in this form is chanted by devout Buddhists daily.
