Tinker
Memories Made Today Picking blackberries on slow summer day, gingerly avoiding being pricked by thorns. Eating berries is part of the play, my grandkids giggle while Mamma warns. ~~Judi Van Gorder Tho Sau Chu Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
tonyv
There's a lot said here in just four lines. The poem is idyllic yet philosophical. It juxtaposes youthful exuberance with wisdom that comes with age. Tinker
I had a great weekend, the kids were here and we had so much fun. I made a great pie from those blackberries which is all gone. Good thing adults were picking with the kids or we wouldn't have had a pie. The little kids ended up with empty buckets and blackberry juice all over them. ~~Judi Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
