Whispering Hearts

whispering hearts

sing freely as the birds do.

crying in the

night only lovers

and fools will ever know.

singing in the day

let the light

shine in your heart

soever freely.

whispering words of passion

only bleeding hearts

fulishly explore.

tonight i celebrate our love

with you

together we share

the sunrise and sunset.

when we touch

the choices that we make

our minds only dare to go.

so i write a memory about you

in tribute to all the times

we have cherished together.

where does it ever stop

the bleeding of the heart

or the crying in the night.

so much in words

i tell you

i love you in a song.

we fly high

like the eagles dare

and the angels flap there wings.

and there we return to

the light up above

where love is waiting.

so it goes

the song has been sung

now it is time to say goodnight

until another day to spend

in the passing moving wind.

cherished hearts will meet again.

there will be no more crying to remember

all the ashes we have made.

just sparks of our memories

will remind us so much

of who we were and who we have been.

I think the parts which touch me the most are:

so much in words

i tell you

i love you in a song ...

and:

just sparks of our memories

will remind us so much

of who we were and who we have been.

Like a song, victor ...

Hello victor,

Good to see you posting again :icon_sunny:

I find this quite beautifully filled with ache:

crying in the

night only lovers

and fools will ever know.

Victor, this is nice, soft and romantic. I love your emotional poems, they sound so innocent, so clean and sincere. This one is wonderful.
