A Flame, A Spark, A Fire Burning

Somewhere our destinies were meant to be

Somewhere in time our hearts were meant to collide

Somewhere in this world our souls will unite

Someday I will walk hand in hand with you

Some were meant to sing the blues

Summer nights in the heat we make love

Imagine a night together, oh what a thrill

Don't stop believing for we will be together

This I promise you as the Sun is my witness

A flame, a spark starts this fire within us

Time sets us free to be

The desire is overwhelming

I don't know where I will be tomorrow

So please stay with me now

So tomorrow doesn't come our way

Maybe yesteryear is all we had

But now the moment is all we can share

Can't you feel the passion in my heart beating?

Live every day as it is your last one...

Victor, this poem delighted. Very sincere, very simple. The lyrical tone attracted me, and makes me want to read it again.
