(Reflections upon returning to Japan ... as hot as Africa ... after a cool and pleasant Guiness-y month in Ireland)

Yerra, duck!

Duckety-duckety duck.

Duckety duckety duckety duckety

Duck.

Duck it.

Duckety duckety

Duck, anyway.

Duck duck duck duck duckety,

Duckety duckety duckety duckety duckety

Duck duck duck.

Ahhhhh, duck!

Well Bren, I am not going to try and understand that one but it made me laugh. Loved the slide show. I can only assume the lovely Japanese woman in the photos with the stunning younger version of herself are your wife and daughter. Nice to connect family to the poet. It appears one of the purposes of your return to Ireland was to attend a funeral. I am sorry. But the reunion with family and friends was clearly filled with love and good cheer. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Tink. It's an Irish thing ... we celebrate all new arrivals and give a great send off to the dearly departed. Family is everything,

Wow, Bren. I was almost to read this poem in some some different way :), while looking the meaning of F - in the title :).

It's interesting this poem because it has some reflection from your spirit.

Thanks for sharing the pic's also.

Bren, first, I had to figure out which meaning of transposal was meant in your poem. When I finally came back to your poem, I kept seeing 'F' for all the 'D' as a result. Whether that was intentional in the title or not, the reader can only guess :-)
