dedalus
In darkness, deep complexity, dots of light and understanding shine amid perplexity. Words are not mere signifiers for untold millions of civilians. No, they act as signal fires calling, reassuring, reaching down into the shared uncertainty (whether born too late or born too soon) deep in our human cocoon. tonyv
Like a banner for the cause, this one unfurls nicely, Brendan. I loved the signifiers/signal fires continuum. Aleksandra
Bren, I am deeply impressed with your new style. You've made a big change in your writing. I see how you are calming your writing pen, and you are producing softer poems. "Human cocoon" is a great expression. The imagery works in a proper way, also. This is wonderful poem.
