The Song I Sing

I picture you

a vision of beauty

for a time

i was trapped in your heart

I dream of you at night

Silently I whisper to you

I am in your dreams

I am calling out to your

fantasies and desires.

Tranguility out at sea

up above the horizon

I sing my song to you

Pictures in my heart

I desire you.

I want to enter your body

and make love to you.

I would move slowly

as though the wind was gently

carassing your cheeks

on your face.

you know i want you so bad

i am the rising star of the east

long ago i held you in my arms

i carried you to the clouds

up above

how many days must i go on

'living like this

you know my heart

is so sad and lonely

many nights

i was so restless

i envisioned you

on the stairway of heaven

time has no reason

sometimes love fades into the wind

and sometimes i think of you

how many times

i wanted to tell you'

that i loved you

from the bottom of my heart.

i am officer and a gentlemen

though i strike no one

with the dagger

you have left in my heart

rivers apart

voices in our minds

how many times

i wanted you by my side

out there it is a jungle you know

there are so many wild animals in nature

though maybe they are more civilized then us

i whisper on a wing and a prayer

sailing on the ocean blue

the stars sing to us at night

take my hand

and we will dance on the clouds

i want to be your lover

and make love to you all night

till the sun comes up

in the morning

don't you know

i desire your beauty

don't you know

i worship the ground you walk on'

"Tranquility out at sea," Victor ... on this sea of life.

... out there it is a jungle you know

there are so many wild animals in nature

though maybe they are more civilized then us ...

Sometimes it sure does seem so.

Hi victor,

So many excellent images and lines to savor. These certainly caught my eye:

time has no reason

sometimes love fades into the wind

... i strike no one

with the dagger

you have left in my heart

These express eloquently the desire and despair the poet feels.

Thank you.
