A crosseyed carpenter from Nantucket Hit his thumb hard then sucked it Oh Lord he did wail Again, I missed that darn nail It's the seventh time now I struck it Bravely he swung once more Then threw his hammer to the floor The nail was bent in two His thumb turned blue Now his pointer finger was sore.
