The poem over all reminded of the lyrics to Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This" and in particular that line "Everybody's looking for something." B. I'll take it, B. :) Vic, I tried to make the style consistent: the first line always has he and me, the second line is always about his "something", and the last is always mine & his. An intriguing setting established by the title and its corresponding note, nostalgia, regret -- this short, appealing piece imparts a familiar sense of "linger" to which I can definitely relate.
