moonqueen Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 Frank, I actually love the imagery, but I tend to dig too deep, sometimes, looking for that metaphor. I have come to the conclusion that the first four lines, being past tense, describe what this man and woman had together, I assume he passed away and the last four lines are dedicated to their 'last appearance' together, obviously at the funeral and the gloves are her tribute to him, her personal good-bye.
