Summer Never Came

It's not the rainy season but then summer never came.
On the glass window, I noticed water dripping across its height.

I am done whispering in your ear, my tears falling on your cheeks
mixing with yours before the equipment sounds go quiet.

How do you translate the weight and height and depth of sorrow
clinging into my arms, pulling me and you away like dirty blankets?

In the corner are seats of loneliness, where one go wail quietly
while outside as the rain poured, some children were dancing in the rain.

Thank you guys for reading through the lines and immersing yourself with the spirit of the poem. I've tried to paint the scene and carry across the challenge of unshared pain
