27 Years After the Breakup

(Ok, yes, it's a therapy haiku, but it's cheaper than alcohol or a psychotherapist. Notice "his" and not "their" or "a".)

Plums and apricots
Crooning on his griddle plate:
A fruity torch-song.

Marti, I'm no expert, but I'd call this a perfect haiku. It's very much to my liking.
