Under The Stars

Tonight under the stars.

I will hold you tight.

When we make love

we will shout at the top of our lungs

and sing to another

about how much we love

each other.

When we make love

we will sip wine

and dance under the moon

where the clouds

whisper to us

in the gentle breeze.

In the quiet storm we here

one another’s thoughts.

When we make love

our voices will echo

on mountain tops

and our hearts will be

dedicated to one another.

if we are quiet enough

maybe we can hear

angels speak to us

in our subtle dreams

and brush

against our hearts.

Tonight will be special

I promise you this Elizabeth.

When we dance under the stars

where the moon glows

and looks down on us.

Maybe we will fall in love

and drink wine

until we our drunk.

Because I really love you.

I speaks these words

to your soul.

When we are young

we will run on the beach naked

and let the roaring waves

crash down on us.

When we make love

we will touch

and your heart will skip a beat

and I will know you love me.

When we touch

The birds chirp to us

as the sun rises in the East.

Our love will fade into the

echoes of the daylight.

So now we fall asleep

in one another’s arms

naked as the oceans waves

crash down on us.

To bad all life

couldn’t be as simple as this.

For tonight I will dream about us

quietly waiting until the day we meet.

Very romantic.

This is a poem that could of been written 500 years ago.....

and has stayed relavent with each passing century...

that's what I honestly like to think about this poem.

Lovely! What else can I, who would prefer to write nothing but love poems, say to this.

I would change "another", in L5, to "each other", or not?

Romantic and a poem full of passion Vic. I enjoyed the sound of love here.

Very sensitive.
