Thanks Tinks.

Now that was a good one Badge. Love where you took that one.

mars my reflection

men of Harlech sing
deep rich tones in minor key
Croeso i Gymru

*Croeso i Gymru = Welcome to Wales

(This is dedicated to Mr. Jones, a 92 year old Welsh gentleman who on his daily walk would stop at the office where I worked in the early 70s (the door to the street was usually open and my desk was in the front). He was always smiling and he would stop to chat. Once he learned my greatgrandmother came to the US from Wales he decided to teach me Welsh and he would sing Welsh songs to me.. I didn't learn much but I looked forward to his visits and was saddened when after about a year he stopped coming by.)

Drown your sorrows in drink, by all means, but the real sorrows can swim

pure voice cascading

a daggers point descending

Astaroth's rites sail

Pinhead

"Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends.

There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh."

Joey

"I don't believe you."

Pinhead

"Oh come, you can hear its faint echo right now. I'm here to turn up the volume.

To press the stinking face of humanity into the dark blood of its own secret heart."

"There's a starving beast inside my chest
playing with me until he's bored
Then, slowly burying his tusks in my flesh
crawling his way out he rips open old wounds

When I reach for the knife placed on the bedside table
its blade reflects my determined face
to plant it in my chest
and carve a hole so deep it snaps my veins

Hollow me out, I want to feel empty"

"Sky turns to a deeper grey

the sun fades by the moon

hell's come from the distant hills

tortures dreams of the doomed

and they pray, yet they prey

and they pray, still they prey"

from sweat and cotton

he forged his epic legend

I am pretty sure that last one was inspired by Django, luv it! And Frank your transition to dialect is brilliant... but isn't it funny how the same words take each of us on different paths.

black had conquered white
when pen finally met paper
long dry spell ends
