Actually, I had another imagery in my head about Plath. I don't know what is it, but I expected different voice. Not that I don't like what I heard, but who knows why I imagined differently.

Wonderful post, badge.

Sometimes I just click on you tube links just to hear her voice. It is so full of life.

Darn, I can't access this link from my office computer... the system firewalls block many internet sites so I will have to listen tonight on my home computer.. I think of Plath as whiney, so I am dying to hear her voice "so full of life."

Thanks for these Badge, I would never have thought to listen to Plath, she has never been a favorite of mine. But I have to admit, after listening to the link, I went on to listen to more. I like her poems much better hearing her read them. Funny, she doesn't sound like an American to me. Although I believe she was from the East and those Easterners sound a bit more high falutin....

Frost was not a surprise, I had heard him before. He drones, kind of boring, but his words impact me anyway. He is a favorite of mine but I prefer to read his work not listen to him.
