Tik Toc has me hooked on the Johnny Depp defamation trial.  So here in the Playground is the perfect place to obsess obsessively.

He's admitted to a drinking problem.
(It's not a crime.)

And the Trial Drones On

Drama and theatrics galore
who hit who first?
He with big thirst,
she, manipulating the score.

Drop dead gorgeous they both can claim
She much younger
with a hunger.
He has talent, money and fame. 

She mimics dress of witnesses,
steals movie lines,
and plants poop mines
It's hard to trust her obsesses.

His generous actions and poise,
hard to ignore.
When drunk, a bore,
slamming cupboards makes lots of noise.

Stories told playing with danger
drug-fueled rages
turn the pages,
It's become stranger and stranger.

We ask, who is the aggressor?
It's him or her,
truth in a whir.
I believe not him, I guess her.

Obsession is close to home, familiar, good, something I can relate to, understand. Very nice work on these poems. The forms are aptly handled: there, yet subtly-so. I love it!
