Forget the Election

What about now? Our leader falls
upon the stage, an absent call, 
is no one there? A mumbled phrase
oblivious to better days
when thoughts came ready, topical. 

Don't want to get emotional,
there is concern, it's logical,
can't have our leader in a daze. 
What about now?

Election is seasonal
let us be reasonable,
the spinning climate is a maze
and who's in charge of nowadays?
Joe is problematical.

Well Judy, a pretty mild rant, more an anguished inquiry.  I think I’ve read too many rants complete with all the colourful expletives the writer had the imagination to muster. Canada has serious issues too in terms of leadership, serious but different.  I must say, vast numbers of Canadians find it difficult to fathom that B. is being offered as U.S. leader.  “who’s in charge”  is the million dollar question.

Haha, Terry, There is nothing wrong with getting old.   I am older than Biden by 2 years.  But I'm not running the country.  I also can still think and articulate my thoughts.  From what I saw the other night, he can't.   Scary, that is my sitting president.

Yes, he is your sitting President, and voted in as part of the democratic process. But we, in other countries, must wait and watch knowing that “if America sneezes the rest of the world catches a cold”.
