Hypochondria 4/4/YoP

Con/Jur/d

“Don’t freak out if you get
a cold” She says
and I assure her “I will I
Will” My brother says
“No reason to freak out
until there is” and I say:

I became a servant of
The God of healing
and plague because
a discarnate former
priest having recently
passed paused dur -
ing his Billy - goat -
skin drum dance
while his friends
watched from be -
hind blanked faces
closed eyes the
Original Ecstatics
who made the Pur-
itanical “High on
your own life” Child -
ren to be the infants
they were know-
ing nothing of ‘High’
and far less about
‘Life’ while the birth -
rite conflagration
burned away all
pretense of miser -
y - turned only for
me saying you’re
next you’re fear
is a a natural sta -
te for the unwash -
ed and uninitiated

The Fear beneath
your breast Bone?
Hypochondria strip -
ped of rhyme or reas -
on needs to re-synco -
pated reset to your own
Drum and i remember

I remember
My back is sore from
wiping down the groceries
from a day shopping behind
a medical mask keeping the
world at bay seems to increase
its weight on our shoulders
while the division between
In and Out becomes thin -
ner and thinner remind-
er soon it will be time
time to dance
without bou-
ndry or
reg-
rets.

Juris,   I know, every little ache or sniffle is suspect.   It is Spring, allergy time, of course there will be that tickle.  Today nothing because of the rain.   This is very cool the way you break the words.

From what I've seen online and out-and-about I have to believe this poem sums up a lot of the hysteria re The Covid-19 Common Cold™ plannedemic. Not too long, not too short -- this one is expertly crafted.
