Hi Phil,

A tantalizing piece, that showed up here while you were working it last year.  A sense of form winds around the thing without quite declaring itself, subtle rhyme scheme touching the iambic tetrameter light as one of the garret's cobwebs.  A number of deft revisions definitely help this piece, none more important than the closing line pair.  I find the literal meaning as elusive as the rhymes, but maybe that is part of what is so tantalizing!

Amethyst is a new publication to me.  I like their mission and will likely submit some of my own work there.  Despite their protest that they are "new", they have been doing this for five years now.  I wish them luck.
