Don't you know you are my best friend in the whole wide world. The day we met you were in my dreams. I thought of you as the goddess of love. You are the roman goddess of love named Elizabeth. I took for granted that you just don't care. It is important to me to know you are free. Think of me, you know I think of you you know I should. The stars shine on us at night as we walk along the shore of the ocean. A Celestial Storm is brewing off the coast. The lightning and thunder we do hear and see wants me to take care of you my lover. But in actuallity it is you who takes care of me. It's has been a long long time since we made love. That was lifetimes ago it seems. I saw your spirit as a tiny baby. You were being born again. I heard you say I love you in the spirit world. My heart leapt after you then. Don't you know I would take you to other worlds if I could. Maybe I shouldn't think of you as much as I do. But it is important to me for you to know that I love you so. As the tears fall from my eyes are grown men allowed to cry. I saw the light in your eyes in my head, in my head I know these things are true. I have feelings for you. I want you to know this but who are you to understand me. I believe in reinccarnation but many Christians do not. They believe the bible instead of listening to God speak to them in their eternal dreams. I know something is wrong when you gazed up at me and saw my personality in your wake. I figured out that I should sing you a song because I have feelings for you because I saw the light of your spirit shine in the whole world as they saw the light coming from you. We were dressed in our best doesn't it seem we have been there before. In my eyes, in my eyes I have seen you bathing before. It was all good because I loved you even more. Yes it is you that we walked along the shore all alone when I saw the light in your eyes and I knew for sure you were created by intelligent design to be with me. Quote Larsen M. Yes it is you that we walked along the shore all alone when I saw the light in your eyes and I knew for sure you were created by intelligent design to be with me. I like how you address Elizabeth within the body of the poem, without a direct dedication after the title. Aleksandra Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 My dear Victor, very good poem. It's so musical and very emotional. It reminds me of the old literature , the classicism. I already told you how much I love those poems, and you include the names, - Elizabeth , in very good moments in the poems. And because it's talking almost always about same name, it gives much more power and lyrical apostrophe on your poetry. I love this one. And here I can say that is all compact , and here I can't say that if this was shorter it would be stronger This is wonderful long poem, what could be even more longer. It have wonderful sense and way. I like the repetitions I saw the light in your eyes in my head, in my head I know these things are true. I have feelings for you. very poetical poem Victor.
