Thanks Tony. The publication world is a game of roulette - the tastes of editors - and publications have a short life span. Always more rejections than acceptances gives the 'game' a sense of validation!

I believe that, and that's why I believe in this platform which we have here. As you know, I submitted one work recently which was rejected. Now, this is gonna sound like sour grapes, but really it is not; I really don't care, but I thought my submission was competent, and I still think it is. I checked out what actually got published, and some of the stuff was pretty good (more so than what I found in some of the back issues I had perused), but there was quite a bit there I wasn't impressed with ... or maybe it just wasn't to my taste. But one thing is for sure, clearly I'm not a member of that ezine's "club." Why would it publish one of my works when it has an abundance of its regulars' works to publish? Well, PMO is here to benefit the members who keep its standards high. It's here for the long haul, and though new members are welcome, PMO is exclusive by virtue of the way it's set up.
