I think in that quoted part you include his other famous painting " Milkmaid " who is made also next to the window. And the best art of his " The Girl with a pearl earring " is perfect and knows as the "Mona Lisa of the North" which you expressed so nicely with all these nice expressions

And really this painting is made in a big silence what include some quiet romance and passion

I have watched the movie " The Girl with a pearl earring " too, and I adore that movie.

I have nevertheless gathered, from Aleksandra's expertly crafted comment, that it is about an artwork and also a movie.
