Aleksandra
Joao. In this poem you made some mix of art by this great Holland painter Jan Vermeer. The pale virgin fleshof the face had the milk of the dawn I think in that quoted part you include his other famous painting " Milkmaid " who is made also next to the window. And the best art of his " The Girl with a pearl earring " is perfect and knows as the "Mona Lisa of the North" which you expressed so nicely with all these nice expressions the lipshalf-open the carmine of the silence. And really this painting is made in a big silence what include some quiet romance and passion I have watched the movie " The Girl with a pearl earring " too, and I adore that movie. Thank you for this wonderful short poem where it can be seen all painting by your words and in so little words you expressed all about painter and his work including the town Delft, where he lived. I love how you use this expression: In a window in Delft Wonderful tone this poem have. tonyv
I'm afraid that I am not qualified to comment on this poem, as I am unfamiliar with the subject. I have nevertheless gathered, from Aleksandra's expertly crafted comment, that it is about an artwork and also a movie. I will echo what she has already said, and say that I love the tone of this lovely and well-written poem.
