Larsen M. Callirhoe
Real Love What does it cost for every grain of sand that falls through the hourglass. If I could hold time in my hand. Oh where would I spin the dice and wanna live. Real love to feel my heart beating. Oh the places I would visit and the stories I would hear. The glamor of people in this world. Oh yes this world. Every heart beating. I feel the wind on my face. I must be dreaming to wanna have love in this world. oh yeah. What am I singing to you. you bunch of devils. The perception I have taken and the roads I have traveled. I let the wind much like the spirit carry me to my destination. Oh yeah with every lover comes complications. When the night comes every song must end. I wanna hold your hand. Remember when it all began. I dance with you on our wedding night and that is where life for us began. Quote Larsen M. tonyv
Victor, I like the no-nonsense acrostic tone in these parts: i must be dreamingto wanna have love in this world ... what am i singing to you. you bunch of devils ... And this part implies a lot: i dance with you on our wedding night and that is where life for us began ... Yes, no matter where the protagonists may be today, that was where "life" for them began ... even if things didn't turn out as expected! Aleksandra
Lovely poem, Victor. I love to see you writing and posting again. I enjoy your poems, and always they deliver to me some feeling of nostalgia and paradox. Glad you are ok and see you around.
