tonyv Posted September 27, 2010 Author Share Posted September 27, 2010 Yes, Rumisong, I've seen a few of these pics on the APOD site, but these moving ones from the Boston.com site that you have shared give a new life and dimension that still photographs can't provide when it comes to the activities of the sun. Strangely, only a few of them are moving, but next to the moving ones, the rest appear to be in motion, too. I find it fascinating that the surface of the sun appears so granulated when viewed close up.
