douglas
remain just remain here in this space between two spaces embrace it for what it is the truth the reality where peace resides and clarity and all that is significant and lovely do not be tempted to go backwards into it for that is oblivion and do not be lured forwards into it for it does not exist there all you require all that is good and perfect is right where you are right now Quote To receive love, you have to give it... tonyv
I'll echo Goldenlangur's and Dr. Con's sentiments, Douglas. This is truly a perfect expression of no delusions and no regrets. One can find peace, even happiness, in this celebration of "the now." douglas
thank you gentlemen! indeed. there is much peace and joy in the now. remaining in it sets one's mind free of a lot of clutter from past (which is gone) and the future (which is an abstraction) there is great mental and spiritual liberation within the now. our western minds have been too overloaded and burdened by too much thought, analysis and fear. with this poem i endeavor to share the possible abreaction that comes from practicing remaining in the present. glad it seems to have worked! be well and happy. doug Quote To receive love, you have to give it...
