Larsen M. Callirhoe
real scared when dawn rises the morning sun i will still be here waiting for you like the moon that shines at night. i was real scared for once in my life. i just recently suffered a blood clot in my left lung. doctors call this a pullumnary embellism, i am paralyzed and didn't feel the pain properly, i was examed in mid january this year by my doctor and diagnosed with pneuomonia. to be medicated and treat me i was hospitalized. they took a cat scan of my lungs and diagnosed a blood clot in my left lung and this was filling my left lung with liguid causing me pneumonia. since i am paralyzed i don't feel the pain the clot caused as harshly. so i layed in bed as the doctors and nurses put me on a intravenous blood thinner. this is real scary because one small cut or a hemmoroid pops in the butt and you could hemmorage to death. Aleksandra
Ah my dear friend Victor. How dark and sad poem. This comes from you with a real subject what happened a little before. I am so sorry for your situation, but I am happy that you are better now. I loved the first expression : when dawn rises the morning sun i will still be here waiting for you like the moon that shines at night. Very emotional and poetical. It is nice when you express your pain and sadness over your poems. That helps a lot, I am sure. I wait for more poems by you my friend, and you know what poems. Those love and romantic poems what you know how to write. I miss those poems a lot. Keep writing Vic Aleksandra Quote The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth - Jean Cocteau History of Macedonia

Aleksandra
Wow Vic, I can't believe in that. Because out poetry is inside us, into our spiritual life. So yes it has some connection with our daily life and happenings , with our physical condition, but not much. So I know you Vic. Your soul and heart have a lot's of romantics and wonderful poetical touches. So still I wait for those poems . I wanna read it Aleksandra Quote The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth - Jean Cocteau History of Macedonia

goldenlangur
Hello Victor, What a sombre poem this is! The medical details you give here add to that sense of losing control and being on the brink. Your make the reader see vividly the fears, the anaesthecized pain, the complexity of the medical condition and the procedure needed to remedy it. What comes across, victor is your sheer force of courage and character - that you lived through this life threatening condition and came back from the very brink to write about it. I salute your courage and the raw honesty with which you lay bare your suffering and thoughts. You have been missed and its terrific to see you write and post. I wish you recovery of body as your spirit already soars! goldenlangur Quote goldenlangur Even a single enemy is too many and a thousand friends too few - Bhutanese saying. Tinker
Hi Victor, I am happy to see you writing about your recent medical scare, it tells me you are on the road to recovery. This is a very frightening experience and it is ongoing as long as the clot is there. It sounds like you have good medical care. All that can be done is trust them. You are in my prayers. I think writing more will help you control your anxiety and we are always here to read and give you support. ~~Tink Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com

tonyv
Hi Victor, It was wonderful to talk to you on the phone, and I am relieved that you are ok. As always, I like the brutal honesty in your poems. The line that hits me the hardest is: i was real scared for once in my life. Fear is an emotion that can be tough to deal with, and I think admitting that one is afraid can be an instrumental first step to overcoming the fear in any situation. Good title. Godspeed for a full recovery. Tony Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic
