I've lived in

the old country

where the color of fire

is natural in the skies

during autumn

and spring is flooded

with green;

to laze in the shade

drifting thoughtless

and in the timeless hours

I'm costumed to overseeing

the stars

brightly puncture

the warm dark

Wonderful expressions, John. I am in love with your lately poetry. I can't wait to get more and more poems from you.

This poem is so vivid and lyrical, and so colorful. You are doing a really great job.
