...areas of my life where an "ocd-rumi" would kick in-- like I would be adjusting your silverware and napkin and the salt and pepper shakers and the napkin dispenser, should we ever find ourselves at a diner for lunch, for instance (hehe, not really-- well, not always-- hehe)

...As for lunch, it's a real possibility. Which part of New England do you consider home in the moment? I frequent Massachusetts all the time.

Tony

it IS, a real possibility-- lets do it!

but, but, Im without car at the moment-- and thats expected to change within a few weeks, one is being prepared for me to use--so lets stay on this idea--

Im in western mass, and a halfway-meet is perfectly good too, as long as I have wheels-- (I was in Westerly a few weeks back, but I was with a friend and we were on a mission, and so as I semi-considered emailing you, I thought the better of it at the time- would have been awkward for my friend, and rushed for you and me if we did manage to)

Im glad then, that you mentioned--

anyone else planning a New England trip anytime soon?

we still have some wonderful color on the trees left-but "leaving off" fast!

And where in western Massachusetts? If by western Massachusetts you mean Worcester, I could even pick you up, whisk you away to Boston for a quality lunch, and deliver you to your doorstep before you turn into a pumpkin.;) On the other hand, if western MA is Lenox or Stockbridge,:-8) I'd opt for the halfway meetup, lol. Lemme know ...

Not quite as far, not quite as close...

Stockbridge is about 90 miles from Worcester, and Im about 40 miles in thatthereabouts direction-- its a way to start our plan though, once I get a car! :)

and yeah, havent been into Boston in a few years (as long as a convention at the wharf doesnt count) --that would be a fun way to go...

Ill have to say something later about my love of Worcester though... theres something Ive been meaning to post someplace-- and now yes, Ill want to post it here... later on though

Hey T, I got wheels!

an oldie but goodie-- a 95 Ford Escort, the guy who found it for me knew the original owner, who only ever used one garage for any work, and that garage is the one selling it (for a song, really) passed inspection just fine- even gave me a full tank of gas to go with it-- man, what a lucky strike this baby was--

so, still want to meet up, before too much snow hits the ground? (we're supposed to get a half an inch here tonight)... PM me with some dates and times you might be able to do a half-way thing...

it would be great, I must say

Tony,

Ive been waiting for something poetic to come, before posting in the PMO meet-up thread about our ACTUAL-EPISODE-1-meet-up on Monday, but it seems that the farther from Monday I get, the less vibrationally will the muse speak to me on this-- so I best just go and make a report--

Of course, what I have to report, is what a great time that three hours spent with you was-- I have to report to others that our dear friend Tony is, in a word, ever so Generous--

Generous of Smile

Generous of Listening

Generous of Heart

Generous of Time

Generous in Courtesy

and Generous in having taken care of Lunch!

Thank you Tony, for all of it, and I'm most definitely looking forward to doing it again

We should also report to the board that in our experience, when PMO members meet-up for three hours, there is no guarantee that poetry will be sufficiently discussed-- in fact, about 12 % I'd say, of what COULD have been discussed and conversed about, even was-- leaving another seven or eight three-hour-lunches to quite cover what an initial meet-up has to cover for two of its members-- can one imagine if a whole bunch of us were to have been available for this meet-up? We may have to book a hotel for a week, to get to a fraction of what there is to share with each other, I dare say.

So, we will post the approximate next meet-up date here lest anyone want to come in from the British Isles or California or the Midwest of the US or from Macedonia in person...

Should we report that there was a PMO voice that showed at our meeting from Macedonia? That was special I must say-- and the notion of a video conference in future would be all the better (the some-second of voice-delay in speaking on the phone takes some getting used to however-- does that sort of delay appear in internet conferencing as well?) In this way, maybe we COULD have a full member meetup from the other parts of the world, and You and I could be the in-person representation of the meeting-- yes, we should report on that as being a possibility, wouldn't you say?

So, thank you again Tony-- I hope your experience of it was in some way similar to mine, if only that you would want to do it again-- (I will try better to let you get some words in should it come to pass, you are a great listener, and there is more about yourself I would want to have asked you!)

reporting from the hills of western Massachusetts,

It was real pleasure to meet you and hang out for a bit, Rumisong, at the first "official" (and known) PMO meetup. It was the highlight of my week.

But you're right. We had a lot to cover, and we barely got to talk shop. Maybe at the next one we'll get down to discussing double iambs. :))

And there was no way Alek was going to let me do this by myself without having her along on at least a voice call. See, normally we use video calls, and they ordinarily work flawlessly, so you can imagine how disappointed she was when the internet connection at our meeting location proved not to be very reliable. So, perhaps next time we'll import Alek to our meetup via a ray of light through a fiber network. And others may want to participate, too. We have a video call program available that allows up to six (maybe seven) participants. Now that would fun!

Thank you, again. And see you soon, either in person or here at our home base in "cyberspace."

Well rumisong, it was really nice pleasure to meet you, :) I mean to talk with you on phone. You two did nice job with this meeting, and I hope in future will join more members and it would be a real party :), who knows, maybe I will show up and then I hope some of you will buy a coffee for me not as the last time, me sitting on the side while you two had fun and drinks  :).

And yes, as Tony said we can do something else with those who can not show up on some of upcoming meet-ups :)

Good job boys!
