As Picasso did it, the eyes

bigger than the head, it extends

for the spectator

the primitive bodies

Les Demoiselles,

I saw it with my wife

in the summer of 1991,

New York in suspension

below of the heat’s humidity,

lively and intact in a recurring wave

of air, the soul

establishes itself

in the girls of the Calle d'Avignon.

I like the snapshot lyrical story-telling of the experience, JTP.

Hello Joao. I liked this poem since I read the first time. The Museum of Modern Art have so rich collection of arts, including Les demoiselles d'Avignon and some others great arts by Picasso.

You expressed so nice his art in this poem. I like it a lot

Here is that wonderful art
