abstrect-christ
Lookin real flashy, slicked back hair. Ziggity-zag, strutten the digs. Get my car, red roadster. Here I go, red hot down the drag, motor not a drag; gettin looks down the drag. Even a whistle or a faint. Local eatery, roll in for a bite. Milk shake so....good as the girls flock to the red. Some ask if I'm single, others for a ride, but I tell em' hell no, cuase she's only meant for the drag. Pull one over, ask if she wants a ride. With rosy cheeks she sias, "I'd like a ride." Poodle skirt on, red sweater, I see this car, flashy and slick. A man pulls up ordering some food. I stay at the back so as not to be seen, all these girls drooling over him and his car, they want a ride. Such a thrill, never seen this in my life, how can a shy teenager like me be so lucky? I accept reluctantly getting past my indecisive situation. Greeted with a smile, he opens the door. Now in the car going 60, the motors purr oh so soothing. A rival car pulls up signalling something. Down the drag we're racing, Traci as I learned clutching the surroundings. Crack a smile at her unnerving, "just think of it as a roller coaster babe", calming her nerves with my hand on her arm. My nerves rushing making my heart pound, a touch and words an unpounding force. Doll-dagga, excitement, this race thing now getting fun, screaming; we pass the opponent, leave him in the dust. Conveniantly by a dance joint, we're on the scene. Slicked back hair, flashy in dress we twist and swing, his movement like red lightning; our dance never stops. Driving up to Traci's place, smile on her face, motor hum slowing, quitting its purr. Traci looks, pleasing eyes for the excitement, scibbity-do-bop-bop. "Goodbye mystery man in the night, thanks for the rollercoaster." Reluctantly getting out of the car, smile on face, gratitude showing. "No problem babe", slick smiling face as the door shuts. Final moment of excitement, the shutting of the door; diggity-dag, flash of red in the night. The mystery man of whom brought me to new heights, will I see his flash again? by Jeremy Swyck (06/04/07) Quote Pinhead "Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends. There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh." Joey "I don't believe you." Pinhead "Oh come, you can hear its faint echo right now. I'm here to turn up the volume. To press the stinking face of humanity into the dark blood of its own secret heart." tonyv
Ah, cruising ... 1950's, North America. It was also so ... innocent back then, and your poem portrays that well. Thanks for the ride. Larsen M. Callirhoe
wow... your writings are very descriptive. the group of poets here came from different parts of the world and incorporate verbaly that takes a lot of focus to contemplate over. i submerse myself in amatuer poetry almost daily for the last several years. got nothing else to do. i am young and very wealthy. i could careless. i make mistakes i am human. your writings speak of a spiritual bias of a canotier nature of naval airmen. that is what came to thought when i read your poems. i never heard of that word before. my thoughts aka spirit guide told me some stuff i am not at liberty to say. i do enjoy poetry of this type of nature. i am a Hebrew Priest by birthrite. no matter what happens to me it is my blessing. if i am broken i don't go in the high temple, so to say i will be translated soon and use a different family name. as for your psuedonym it is not in the english dictionary after searching for its meaning. i will look at it in other languages lol. intersterting choice maybe a math term i assume. after search results in google i came up with references to pakastan, oil paintings, and archtecture. i am a art collector also. talk about that later. victor michael Edited March 23, 2011 by Larsen M.
