abstrect-christ Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 The Cube, simple in structure; yet six sides may laterally(or vertically) hold six Dimensions within itself. To Draw a picture of six Dimensions is to graph an understanding between Perceptions, between Pasts, Futures, and Presents existing in itself. The left dreamscape only see its true reflections; when folded against eachother the square itself-- "in order for a gold fish to swim from one end of the fish tank without obstructions a net would have to pick it up and place it there," this is to say, Hawkings wormhole, where space and time fold disrupting eachother, even Light and its velicotic mass of Time the square folded meeting at the same point, Cellular Mitosis, Metamorphosis, Evolution, etc.-- only exists in Twos, constant Copies by the second, day, night; left, right, ying, yang; XX,XY. They co-exist next to eachother like astronauts stuck in gravity- where time ceases to exist; although thought only by an individualist ideal; the Theory of Relativity. Twins age the same from Alpha to Omega; though the Symmetry of our bodies is present this brings upon us the topic of what's wholistically Singular but reflective on the inside: The Human Heart, to the left containing Two atriums, Two ventricals; it doesn't have a backup Symmetry. It functions without digression or self mutilation. Like the dangers of the Doppleganger, other self not seen, for when they meet only one survives to see times speed as ages expand-- even if both cross hands; left meets right, that Copy's dream will play Overlord, or Warlord; Three however, "Three's a crowd." by Jeremy Swyck (06/12/09) Quote Pinhead "Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends. There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh." Joey "I don't believe you." Pinhead "Oh come, you can hear its faint echo right now. I'm here to turn up the volume. To press the stinking face of humanity into the dark blood of its own secret heart." "There's a starving beast inside my chestplaying with me until he's boredThen, slowly burying his tusks in my fleshcrawling his way out he rips open old woundsWhen I reach for the knife placed on the bedside tableits blade reflects my determined faceto plant it in my chestand carve a hole so deep it snaps my veinsHollow me out, I want to feel empty"-- "Being Able To Feel Nothing" by Oathbreakerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBPy3xNwwL8 "Sky turns to a deeper grey the sun fades by the moon hell's come from the distant hills tortures dreams of the doomed and they pray, yet they prey and they pray, still they prey"-- "Still They Prey" by Coughhttps://soundcloud.com/relapserecords/sets/cough-still-they-pray

Aleksandra Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 This poem reminds me of my own poetry, from years ago. I know I was deeply experimenting with this kind of poetry. Very well done. Aleksandra Quote The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth - Jean Cocteau History of Macedonia
tonyv Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 The cube, a wonder of the universe. I didn't realize how multidimensional it could be. Almost like a snowflake. Thought-provokingly examined, it all starts with the cube ... Tony :) Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic
dedalus Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 This is a refreshing change from the normal run of things, reminding me unmistakably (thinking laterally, as usual) of those immortal opening words ... Me puse a hojearlo y sentí un vértigo asombrado y ligero que no describiré, porque ésta no es la historia de mis emociones sino de Uqbar y Tlön y Orbis Tertius ... Nicely done, Brendan Quote Drown your sorrows in drink, by all means, but the real sorrows can swim
Benjamin Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 The mind boggles. Albert Einstein said that when the bees die so do we. Stephen Hawking said recently that the survival of humanity is dependent upon getting off this planet. Carl Sagan said during his lifetime however, that realistic space travel for mankind, is as far in the future from us as Columbus is in the past. All this and cubes too--- makes one wonder if anything ultimately matters. :icon_cyclops: Benjamin Quote
