goldenlangur
Hi Tink, It's wonderful to have haiku posted here and three is a bonus! The reflective tone of the first is magical! I love the echoing rhyme in "flutter" and "butterfly". There's a lovely sensuous note in the second haiku: "... moisten my cheek" And the final haiku has drama in the colours you evoke: "gold" and "poppy" - one imagines crimson heads. Thank you for a great haiku moment and more. goldenlangur Quote goldenlangur Even a single enemy is too many and a thousand friends too few - Bhutanese saying. tonyv
Welcome back, Tinker! I enjoyed these haikus, especially the part about the morning breeze, the reference to the Pacific, and where you write gold greets my eyes.
