Rea Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 (edited) Dream Poet You sat upon her heart and danced a merry jig She loved the adulation and tripped upon the fig She wished to see your face that launched the sun and moon But time and love needs patience and hearts break hungry swoons I wished that it was, I concealed behind your eyes To sit within your heart with love and whisk with joy, your smile She spoke to you from deep within her body, soul, and mind In your heart, you misread a thousand words, unkind She wanted just to tell you Your poetry is bliss Your similes and metaphors Blend with perfumed kiss But, you were just too anxious To be a loving heart You inked with perfect passion your chords that melt, apart Now the past has dwindled the esctasy and joy of love, the unrequited, silence locked behind each sigh You illuminated her world for a minute in the stars A life time in infinity where love light sparkles are © Rea 20th May 2011 Edited May 23, 2011 by Rea Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hello Abstract Thank you for commenting, anyone with constructive opinion with regards stanza 1, adding a few words, a few verses in between may need attention, and last stanza. I have stared and glared, left it sitting, mulled and lulled with it, but not one word of change came into my head, all input appreciated.
