eclipse Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 On the Lyme coast I encountered a mermaid with ghosts in her eyes- she gave me a pearl and sang half a song-if I found a moon the size of this pearl I would hear the sound of a ghost with moons in his eyes finishing this song and boundless riches would be my prize. For many days and nights I hunted this moon-I spoke with eyeless ghosts and joked with song-less mermaids. On a particular night I felt the delicate caress of a distant song to the winds a moon eyed ghost had given a tongue they sang with him and I received rings of silver and gold. Quote
