Writen by V. Michael Lashewitz 3/31/71 yeah I am getting old!

So Please Say You Love Me

I woke up in the morning

to the sound of the radio

playing one of my songs.

I noticed it had rained

out the whole night long.

I got ready to go to work.

I felt the strong breeze

blow on me stirring my hair.

Weather often acts so strange.

No one could see me at all

and seem to figure this out.

Last night I met a real hot girl.

Oh we boogied to the sound

of the music playing this

night at this gala club.

Oh We had so much fun dancing.

She asked me such a simple thing.

She asked if we could get it on.

You cast a spell on me and

from then on I was in love.

So Please Say You Love Me...

So Please Say You Love Me...

The next night we met again.

I ask you to look at me.

We talk till the sun rises.

I tell you I love to dance

and hold your hand in mine.

We share a walk in the park.

Like the birds that fly above

chirping as the sun appears.

I ask what do you see in me?

When I looked you in the eyes

I knew we really were meant.

So please say you love me.

Oh we boogied to the sound

of the music playing this

night at this gala club.

Oh We had so much fun dancing.

She asked me such a simple thing.

She asked if we could get it on.

You cast a spell on me and

from then on I was in love.

So Please Say You Love Me...

So Please Say You Love Me...

We had been together a year.

I will ask you to marry me.

I hope you will say I do.

You replied "I am not ready."

I thought it could be so simple.

My world crushed by these words.

Broken hearts still bleed

I ask for a second chance

what else can i say or do?

After you where long gone

I started drinking whisky and wine.

Life now just an illusion for me.

Oh we boogied to the sound

of the music playing this

night at this gala club.

Oh We had so much fun dancing.

She asked me such a simple thing.

She asked if we could get it on.

You cast a spell on me and

from then on I was in love.

So Please Say You Love Me...

So Please Say You Love Me...

Oh we boogied to the sound

of the music playing this

night at this gala club.

Oh We had so much fun dancing.

She asked me such a simple thing.

She asked if we could get it on.

You cast a spell on me and

from then on I was in love.

So Please Say You Love Me...

So Please Say You Love Me...

You see...

You cast a spell on me and

from then on I was in love.

You see...

You cast a spell on me and

from then on I was in love.

So Please Say You Love Me...

So Please Say You Love Me...

...and I was in love...

...and I was in love...
