Ground

We all have demons she says

And mine are unfurling their wings

I try to take full responsibility the choice

of wax when flying so close to the Sun

seems to have been a bad decision

made from pride and maybe anger

filling that hole in the center

where innocence

once lived

Before that great fall

Gravity’s gift

all flying

is falling

How soon we forget

fear and excitement

are matters of pers-

pective this relation

to ground.

dr con, should i look at this spiritually as questioning this myth as truth or fallacy of the quote i picked from your poem? or should i look at this sstatement literally as what they wrote to understanding either a metaphor or analogy to understanding history? is this to question that situation? or should i just look at this as the perspective of the authors of those that wrote about per sa' the book of genesis or other authurs that talk about this touchy subect.

Enjoyed the delve into recklessness, Juris. Yes, even when it comes to electricity, it all comes back to ground.

Well, my words next to this poem are worthless. Juris, this poem is amazing and, I loved it. All what, I can tell is that I am amazed and pleased to read your poem.

Thank you.
