Frank E Gibbard
In shared limelight I chanced to sight On mighty Thames Their stage: this delight. Like Swan Lake dancing, Preening, prancing Romancing then dying Ballet audience sighing. My two swans in peace Canoodle oh so gently In half-lit pas de deux. Twilight passes into night Crying, a hush, a pregnant Pause. Tears as curtain falls, Swans away ~ applause.
abstrect-christ
good emotion, good rhythm, good short read all around. Quote Pinhead "Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends. There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh." Joey "I don't believe you." tonyv
Very nice, Frank. It's lyrical and vivid. Around here we get the occasional swan(s), but we do have plenty of Canada geese, lol. But this is no swan song. You're on a roll -- just taking a break from the alphabet series. Larsen M. Callirhoe
frank i love this sweet poem her. i love nature and this its the bill to no exception. excellent my amigo. this is a awesome read and poem. i want to say frank when your gone and we hope that will not be for at least another 40 years we hope i think overall your poetry should be remembered somewhere somehow. i have been on poetry forums since july 2000. i didn't post but several writings. five of them were suberb poems. i mean master pieces i had one of them publised in a magazine. but the other four are lost completely. before they came out with these memory cards i had all my writings which was around 250 of my writings saved on a computer laptop. i had taken them down off of my defunct website of mine. that was when things on the net wore free of course lol. a day later a massive computer virus swept the world august 2002. it was on the news. it only destroyed like 20,000 residental computers mine being one of them. but it destroyed over 1,000,000 business computers worldwide. it pissed me offf thoroughly. it took me a month to write each of those five poems. i was able to recover most of those stories which fantasdy science fiction. i have written several thesis papers on hebrew customs. it helped me earn a honorary doctrate at broward state college in florida. i will be honest most of the stuff i have studied on religon is pure garbage and i wished ihad pursued something else. i am am very spiritual and would have been better off reading books like the series "chicken soup for the soul" lol. i don't condemn anyone for there spiritul beliefs at all. i don't pretend at all to say i understand athesist ideaologies. i realise now wheher i know or believe it is the truth i have to respect and understand to you it is just my opinion. and to you your belief is more than opinion to you. so pardon me i didn't mean for it to sound like it did. i also don't believe in that fire and brimstone burn in hell for ever. i do however believe in purgatory lol. i believe like catholic orthodox, macedonian/greek/russian/german orthodox, masons (i had relatives who were masons; i would have become one if my grandpa lived longer for he died when i was four years old.), methodists, now mormons. (the mormons 40 years ago and older is what i believe like. the mormons today are becoming more methodist like lol.), i believe like pageans in goddess worship, and like wiccans. that is what my spirituality is like. on top of that i believe in reincarnation also. victor Quote Larsen M. Benjamin
Frank. An interesting cameo of these majestic and fascinating creatures who mate for life. It's easy to understand why they've been under royal protection since the 12th century in England. Geoff.

Tinker
Nice images Frank. I enjoyed the rhyme at the beginning and was almost disappointed it all but disappeared in the 2nd half. The rhyme seemed to compliment the images. I liked this. ~~Tink Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
