The trajectory of Apollo's fiery

arrow lasted almost as long as

eternity's. Follow an arrow

on its course, trace Apollo’s

historical echo to its source-

was your music melodious enough to

pierce and force its way through

history's fog. A songbird’s heart- an intricately strung bow releases a shimmer of notes, an archer’s rhythm is deceptively slow as he unleashes a quiver of arrows. If I could send an

arrow back to you in time containing

Yeats's rhyme the blues, Beethoven's

musical paradigm, would the arrow

be returned as the seas return the

moons reflection? The moon is medicine for

some who sleep, starting with a quarter of a spoon

the full measure with the incarnation of a full moon.

Apollo piloted his chariot and the singer carries a

melody bringing him closer to the source of music

or his soul.

does this need some editing done to it eclipse? Is the midway prose line meant to be there? And in the 2nd case atleast the interuptive dash is better as a emdash as oppose to en, or did you mean both en's as emdashes so as to call atttention to the line after it; if so then I would review how you manage that kind of dash and how it should look if you're using dashes.

aside from that, nice poem.

"Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends.

There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh."

"I don't believe you."

"Oh come, you can hear its faint echo right now. I'm here to turn up the volume.

To press the stinking face of humanity into the dark blood of its own secret heart."

"There's a starving beast inside my chest
playing with me until he's bored
Then, slowly burying his tusks in my flesh
crawling his way out he rips open old wounds

When I reach for the knife placed on the bedside table
its blade reflects my determined face
to plant it in my chest
and carve a hole so deep it snaps my veins

Hollow me out, I want to feel empty"
-- "Being Able To Feel Nothing" by Oathbreaker

"Sky turns to a deeper grey

the sun fades by the moon

hell's come from the distant hills

tortures dreams of the doomed

and they pray, yet they prey

and they pray, still they prey"
-- "Still They Prey" by Cough
