Frank E Gibbard
My poor old body Stops me going to St. Paul's I shall spare you all The detail. At the venerable old pile (the cathedral, not me) The tents are still there, I am not, not for want of Being with them in spirit (ironically) Which I am, seeing as many can't Their point unarticulated as it may well be. I could not get to Wall Street either obviously From here not having squirelled millions away Or having ever had a single share or of much, much less A stocking full of them and many stocks plus bonuses besides. No all I can do is let Wall Street occupy me (gettit?), - you know the movie - and enjoy the demise of Gordon Gekko In the prequel to the sequel when that evil bastard got his desserts. We can't bank on that happening to too many of them though. [in no way do I ever condone unwarranted non-self-defensive violence but peaceful protest is OK by me]
fdelano
Hi Frank. You mirror my thoughts to an extent. I have watched and read and listened to events here--I live an hour from D.C., and can make no sense of it. My protests over the years have been through the mail to my congressmen or face to face with those with whom I had disagreement(s). This "Occupy" movement is well-deserved by those that pumped the market and banks full of money while the jobs kept on drying up. Those same politicians who now want to ride the tiger should do a little homework on the French Revolution. The "Iron Mistress" knows no boundaries. This is a time when I'm satisfied to be too old to get involved. Besides, who would listen? Now, please apologize for making my sour mood worse. Just kidding. I always enjoy reading your worldly thoughts.

Benjamin
Nicely put Frank. Free speech? Shout all you want! Words alone won't change a thing. The politicians have got their 15 minutes and will just sneer and shrug them off. "Heads in the trough lads.... backsides face towards the rest!". G. JoelJosol
Frank, I like the transition from the what and why of what turned out to be a commentary on a current event. "Their point unarticulated as it may well be." is an apt summary of why folks are there and what they want happen. goldenlangur
Hi Frank, Your pensive musings on the current 'Occupy' movement against global capitalism will touch a chord with many who have been affected by the greed and irresponsible creation of debt, that even the mighty US seems unable to pay. Thank you. Quote goldenlangur Even a single enemy is too many and a thousand friends too few - Bhutanese saying.
