Gatekeeper Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Once Upon a Winter For all of those on the north side of the mid line of the slightly-bulged-like-an-unkempt-belly line this is the short straw the late morning and the early night and for some the middle of the all night and the missing of the light This is the dreaded in the coming and the hopeful in the passing the lighting of the annual candles and the long night's slumber this is the celebration of the end but only because it is the beginning. - - - - - - - - Y'all have a merry nice Winter Solstice and a Good Light to all! David W. Parsley Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Starts with a conspiratorial grin, then lights the way with a procession of mysterious candles. Like it. - Dave Quote

Frank E Gibbard Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Didn't read this before gatekeeper. Saw Tony was back, glad he revived. Atmospherically delivered palpable of scene and time. Frank Quote
Aleksandra Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Gatekeeper, I like how this poem has started, and it's way to the end, but at the end itself, is somehow without sound, IMO. I don't know as I miss there something else. Otherwise than that, the poem is full of great elements. Thank you for sharing it. Tinker Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Wow, Gatekeeper I loved this poem. The pattern of words as they move me line by line through the poem is almost tangible. I could feel it move me as I read it. Great composition! ~~Tiink Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
