Forest of moons

verse:

in a hive in a forest of moons

with nectar taken from the stars

bees change the moon's light

with the industry of their flight

chorus:

the earth makes its own honey

from the shifting moon's light

i pass through many moon's

and catch a fever from the night

in my second stomach i am

i am pregnant with a planets plight

verse:

on a shipwrecked horizon giving

birth to a new kind of tender earth

the bees my midwife feed me honey

the sun bleeds for the moon who

is wearing a crown of thorns

chorus:

the earth makes its own honey

from the shifting moon's light

i pass through many moon's

and catch a fever from the night

in my second stomach am

i am pregnant with a planets plight

bridge:

under a starless sky two moon's

channel the thoughts of passersby

nature and man advance a new ministry

talk without speech about democracy

verse:

blinded by a strange exotic birth

two moons new eyes gifts from the earth

bees wait for dreams to give them light

ready to make honey with the rustic night
